The IRB Issues in Evaluation group will consider possibilities to harmonize IRB evaluation issues across institutions, explore discussions with other CTSA Key Function Committees and groups (e.g., alternate IRB Models, Regulatory, Clinical Research Ethics), and identify ways to achieve greater transparency. The group will work on developing a set of tools to educate IRBs about evaluation and provide examples of key features that an IRB would review for exemption. |
